The Room I Want Isn't Available
In our residence halls, some buildings and room types are in high demand and fill up fast when room selection begins in February for returning residents and March for new students. In particular, because we let you choose which hall you want to live in, the single rooms in Grant, Stevenson, Neptune and Patterson are often the first to get booked. Students really like these types of rooms!
By mid-summer, as students continue to sign up, choice becomes more limited. Rooms will continue to open up during the summer, but we may not have a room available in the hall that you want.
What You Can Do
Sign up for something else now and keep checking back
You can sign up for your second preference, and then keep checking back to see if your first preference opens up. Make a room change online if your first preference opens up.

These are communities in the halls where you get to live with others that have similar interests. They may still have spaces available!
Join a waitlist
As spaces fill up, we will maintain a waitlist for a given room type. Once you have signed a contract you can be added to a waitlist. We limit the number of waitlist requests based on the potential to fill a given space.
In addition to filling out a waitlist request, we strongly encourage you to select your second or third choice for a room to ensure that you are able to select a space as close to your room preference as possible.:
